Hello, it's me, Hannah A., back and blogging once again.
You're probably thinking, what in the world could you possibly have to blog about at this point in your life?...or if you're anyone who's known me in the past thirteen years, are you over that obsession you have with Taylor Swift yet? And yet alas, the two questions combine...I have decided to take my seemingly "unhealthy" obsession with Taylor Swift and combine it with my favorite creative outlet-blogging-to take a new perspective on life as I have known it for the past thirteen years.
This blog is a reflection on my life through the lens of Taylor Swift, both her music and persona, and more specifically how both of those have influenced my life and/or changed the way I've experienced it. I am a highly reflective person-I attribute that to the many courses I took in grad school that emphasized critical thinking and reflection-and now that I am freshly out of school, a "working girl" trying to find a place in the world, I decided it was time to take some perspective on the past and look forward to the future.
This blog is not solely one thing or another, and honestly I am unsure of what it will turn into as I sit on my apartment balcony this unusually pleasant evening in the middle of what has been an incredibly hot and humid summer. But regardless of what it is or what it could turn into, I know it is something I need to do right now...whether that lasts for six months or the next thirteen years, and I look forward to sharing this journey in the process.
New posts will come as I envision them...whether it's every day (highly unlikely) or every other month (also unlikely), but mostly something in between. I write when I feel inspired, and in the light of a new era for both the incredible person inspiring this blog and myself as well, I sense a lot of inspiration in the coming months. I hope you enjoy this experience with me and I look forward to sharing it with you. This is life as I have known it through the lens of Taylor Swift and her music.
Love(r),
Hannah
